Laundry catch up day

Today was a bank holiday and so Ell was home with me all day. Yay! We had so much laundry to catch up on its all we did. The poor children had empty drawers and had been wearing their jammies for 2 days. It was bad. Our family stomach flu had cleaned out our linen closets. Lots of the laundry was already clean but it never made it out of the laundry baskets. It was bad.


We folded and put away about 8 loads of laundry. The baskets are much emptier and mommy and daddy are much happier. I'd much rather keep my sanity, have time to play with my kids, hold my baby while he's small, and cook for my family than stress about laundry. Sometimes the clean laundry piles up but sometimes it's worth it. Anyway, our kids will now have clean, wrinkle free clothes to wear to school. Hooray!
